Boggle is a word game that requires 16 letter cubes, the cube grid with dome, and a 3-minute sand timer, which should be tapped to star your game. Words should be created by using adjoining letters – the letters must touch each other – and must be able to connect to each other in the proper sequence to spell the word correctly. The letters may join in any direction – horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. This means that the letters can be above or below, side by side, or touching corners. Words can be spelled in any direction, including backwards. The longer the word, the more points it earns you. Each of the words you find earns you points, according to the following scale: Word of 3 or 4 letters: 1 point, Word of 5 letters: 2 points, 6-letter word: 3 points, 7-letter word: 5 points, 8-letter word or more: 11 points
